Land Rover introduced the new 2010 Land Rover Freelander at the Geneva Auto Show 2009. The revised 2010 model year Freelander 2 features the acclaimed intelligent stop/start system now standard on all diesel manual Freelander 2 TD4_e's. They provide a combined cycle of 42.2mpg and 179g/km of CO2.

The 2010 Freelander 2 includes standard air conditioning, remote central locking, two ISOFIX points,power steering, seven airbags, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, auxiliary audio jack, Roll Stability Control (RSC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).

The Freelander 2 10MY line-up also offers modified trim-levels to the 'GS' and 'XS' specifications including heated front seats, a hands-free Personal Telephone Integration (PTI) Bluetooth® system, and an Alpine In-Car Entertainment (ICE) system.

There are also two new exterior colors: Bali Blue, replacing Martinique Blue and Ipanema Sand, replacing Nazca Sand (available from June 2009) and a new interior color of Storm grey.
